30 DAY CHALLENGE

ATTITUDE WILL DEFINE WHO YOU ARE
YOUR PROBLEM Is not he enemy... It is your attitude.... YOUR attitude belongs to you .. Not the people around you or your circumstances :)
God requires us to do an attitude check many times over , it is our bad attitude that gets us into so much bother. I always find that even in the middle of a bad attitude if I decide to make a change the there is an immediate shift in the situation.
It is so easy to fall into the enemy's snare and take the road of the bad attitude . God wants us to be more than conquerors . He wants us to live a full and victorious life filled with his spirit and his attitude. ROMANS 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
So listen to his promptings and prepare for a change TAKE MY 30 DAY CHALLENGE :)It takes 30 days to form a new habit... So for the next 30 mornings I am planning to ask God to show me things in my attitude that could do with a tune up.... Who is with me...
Post your daily changes on this blog each day and lets see together the change that it brings in us.

  2. Day 2= Challenge today = Change my attitude towards time in prayer and my thinking that I dont have time . Today as I go about my day to day activities be praying and joyful. Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus" (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).

  3. DAY 3 = Challenge today= Change my attitude about believing for God to answer MY prayers just as surely as he answers the prayers of others .
1 John 5:14-15 says, "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of him."

  4. DAY 4= Challenge today = To have an attitude of thanksgiving. to actively seek God out today and thank him all day long for all he has done for me and the people I have prayed for . It is not good enough to receive answers to prayer and not acknowledge the giver of my answers.

  6. DAY 6= have an attitude of being positive today.
It is so easy for our mind to be negative, but today I choose LIFE, AND POWER through having a positive attitude
The Word of God says, “Depart from evil and do good; seek, inquire for, and crave peace and pursue(go after) it!” (Psalm 34:14). “Do all things without grumbling and faultfinding and complaining [against God] and questioning and doubting [among yourselves]” (Philippians 2:14).

  7. DAY 7 &8 = This one was such a big attitude change for me that it took 2 days. Change my thoughts that everything I do has to be done at lightening speed.
My problem here is that the outworking of this running so fast actually has an effect of a bad attitude in many areas, ie, road rage, children rage, too busy for God, not taking the time to realy listen to others just to name a few. I am sure you will come up with a few of your own.

  8. DAY 9 = Have an attitude of rejoicing As a believer Whatever happens rejoice. That is an attitude. by believing in Jesus Christ everything that really matters in this life and the next is yours in Christ Jesus . When I trust in Jesus Christ the whole covenant of grace is mine with all of its infinite inheritance. I have a right to everything that grace provides as a coinheritor with Christ.
Paul did not tell us in his writings to “be happy,” but instead “rejoice in the Lord.” We are to “Rejoice in the Lord,” not my circumstances. My rejoicing is to take place in Christ and the outpouring of love for him from my heart. We are to delight in Him. The apostle Paul had inner joy when his external circumstances did not look very promising.
When Paul was writing from prison in Rome he said, “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!” (Phil. 4:4)

  9. Day 10 & 11... Ok had a couple of bad days there and lost my focus ..oops.. My attitude was faltering . It was a timely reminder that we must be steadfast in our walk with God in order to bring about lasting change in our attitude . It is very easy to type some words and say this is what I am doing but it is a whole lot harder to keep working on these attitude changes so that they become an integral part of our person as a whole. So for today I plan to re visit days 1 to 9 and re affirm these desired changes in me . God bless you all

  10. Days 12 & 13 = Have an attitude of Gratitude.
sometimes we become discouraged, and we fall back into griping or doubting. It can be difficult to hold the right attitude an attitude of faith and expectant hope - when circumstances appear as if you're standing still or moving in reverse. But God wants us to have a steadfast unshakeable faith. Be grateful in all things even if we are yet to see the fruit from our prayers

  11. DAY 14 = Defining attitude
The word "attitude" is described in the dictionary as "an internal position or feeling with regard to something else." Other words used are: "disposition, feeling, mood, opinion, sentiment, temper, tone, perspective, frame of mind, outlook, view, or morale."
Pilots often use "attitude" to describe their horizontal relationship with the runway then they land. If their attitude isn’t aligned properly, the plane will make contact with the ground at the wrong angle and it will cause them to crash.

In essence, your attitude is your inward disposition toward other things, such as people or circumstances. As in with an airplane, attitude is applied whenever you must deal with something other than yourself. According to God’s word, when we become a Christian, a part of our new creation is the development of new attitudes — our attitude should become like that of Jesus. The Bible says, "Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:" (Philippians 2:5). "You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off the old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds." (Ephesians 4:22 NIV)
Time to get that plane landed :)

  12. DAY 15 = To God — Our attitude should be reverence, submission, love, trust, humbleness, obedience, worshipful, and prayerful.
Wow ... try to tick all to tick all those boxes today ; Now there's a challenge for us all , some easier than others but what an awesome day we will have if we get all those right today. (Psa. 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise., Mark 12:30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'

  13. DAY 16 = What about our attitude to our home of worship, Our church ? Our attitude should be respectful, faithful, cooperative, helpful, willingness, dependable, participating, encouraging. 1 Cor. 14:12, So if you are desiring the things which the Spirit gives, let your minds be turned first to the things which are for the good of the church. Heb. 2:12 He says, "I will tell my people about your name. I will praise you within the congregation. take some time to have a look at the list above , spend time with God today and ask him to point out any areas that you need to work on with your attitude to church, I know for me of one or two even before I pray .

  14. day17=. My attitude towards myself . I have put on my new self which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of the creator . colossians3:10. God needs us the have a health self image in order to use us, we have spent years developing our poor self image and that needs to change. We need to work on becoming whole through seeing ourselves as God sees us. We need to stop the lies we listen to that we are ugly, stupid, unworthy, not good enough ..... And so many more....In actual fact we are disrespecting God by choosing to believe these things and wasting precious time , when God just simply wants and needs us to get on with the job.
Today's task is to resist the urge to respond in a negative way when someone offers a complement, or respond in our mind with a negative comment when God is asking us to do something for him. that should keep us all busy for more than a day or two ..... Change our attitude towards ourself TODAY , God gave us the tools yesterday and every day before that ...so what are we waiting for

  15. DAY 18 = An attitude of a teachable spirit. How quickly does our human nature jump in the moment God wants to teach us something ??? I am the first to admit that at times I get more than a little defensive, does that sort of attitude help me ? well clearly not. If we are ever going to grow in God we must surely then make a daily effort to submit ourselves to the teachings of our God. That teaching will come through HEARING the word of God. 1 Thessalonians 2:13 And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is at work in you who believe.
Teaching will come from DOING James 1;22 o not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
Teaching will come from SUBMITTING ,Luke 22;26 Mark 9:35 Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, "If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all."
developing an attitude towards wanting to learn and be taught is the greatest asset we can have in our armor to fight the enemy. God has so much to teach us and he will do that through many avenues , One of the best ways we can learn and grow is from the correction, love and guidance of the people whom God has put in our lives for that very purpose, so lets do ourselves a favour and listen to Gods teachings and act upon it wherever and whenever it comes our way.
Lets not be foolish people Jeremiah 5:21 Hear this, you foolish and senseless people, who have eyes but do not see, who have ears but do not hear:
